Essence Of Balance
| Essences are a collection of spirits that, with a sorcerers skill, become tangible. They are neither gas nor liquid, but can be contained in a glass bottle for future use in spells or enchantments. Many spirits are needed to make even a single essence. Sometimes the spirits are of small easily killed creatures, other times they require the spirits of stronger creatures and a few even the toughest creatures of them all. The effect this essence has on an exposed persons balance and speed, makes it a widely banned substance at all sporting events relying on balance; such as the gauntlet where contenders must survive a run through a long thin open sided corridor where many objects will attempt to knock their balance off and throw them from it. |
