Andarna Sword

This type of sword was re-named after the great Elven Lord Andarna. He is believed to be the one to cast down the last uprising of the Orcs, before the Orcs were driven into their underground hideout. According to legend, he was the most powerful elf of that age and that he, in that last and epic battle, single-handedly destroyed two hundred of the foul beasts. Where the weapon itself was quite standard in past ages, now it is a rare artefact of a lost time. The craftsmanship to make the weapon was lost when the great wars ended and peace returned to the lands. Many similar swords are available but none match the power and speed of the original ones. The Andarna Sword posesses a wide blade about a hand span across and is un tapered meaning it finishes in quite a broad tip this design allows for superior slicing but it is often considered inferior for stabbing with.
